Familias fronterizas disfrutan el Festival Indígena Umukí

Juárez, Chih., a 31 de octubre del 2021.- Familias fronterizas continúan visitando el corredor peatonal del Centro Histórico para disfrutar del Festival Indígena Umukí que organiza el Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres (IMM).

Platillos típicos mexicanos, artesanías elaboradas con barro y madera tallada, joyas hechas con chaquira y canutillo y dulces mexicanos son disfrutados por las personas que acuden al corredor peatonal, junto al Centro Municipal de las Artes.

En el evento participan familias indígenas asentadas en Ciudad Juárez, entre ellas las comunidades huichol, mixteca, mazahua, purépecha, nahua, ralámuli, otomí, zapoteca y chinalteca, entre otras.

Además de la muestra y venta de artesanías y platillos típicos, el Gobierno Municipal ofrece diversas presentaciones artísticas.

Los asistentes disfrutaron ayer del pianista ralámuli Romeyno Gutiérrez; en tanto que el festival concluye hoy con la presencia de Huichol Musical de 5 a 7 de la tarde.
