El Paso, Texas., 12 de junio del 2023.- El Departamento de Policía de El Paso pide ayuda a la comunidad para dar con el presunto responsable de un atropellamiento que mató a un peatón de 57 años el sábado en el noreste de El Paso.

De acuerdo con las autoridades, el peatón intentó cruzar en la 8200 de Dyer en un cruce de peatones sin tener la señal para continuar, dijo la policía.

Mientras avanzaba hacia el segundo carril en dirección norte, fue golpeado por un sedán de 4 puertas de color claro, que lo arrojó al tercer carril de Dyer, informaron.

Asimismo, la policía dijo que mientras estaba en el suelo, el peatón fue atropellado por una camioneta GMC blanca.

La policía describe el vehículo como una camioneta GMC blanca levantada con llantas negras, parachoques trasero blanco y placas desconocidas de Texas.

Ambos autos abandonaron la escena del accidente.

El hombre fue llevado a un hospital pero murió a causa de sus heridas.
