Las Cruces, Nuevo México., a 13 de julio del 2023.-Dos personas fueron arrestadas por presuntamente tener bajo su autoridad a un niño de 2 años en condición deplorable y con apariencia de haber sido abusado.

La pareja estaba en una gasolinera en Glendale cuando una persona supuestamente notó a un menor con las manos atadas y lo reportó a la policía.

Al llegar a la gasolinera, los policías presuntamente encontraron al menor con las manos atadas, vestido con una camiseta y con un pañal sucio.

Según el informe policial, la madre del niño, identificada como Ashleigh Pauline Mcguire, y su novio, que no ha sido identificado, testificaron que ataron al niño con una cuerda de arnés.

Algunos vecinos del área manifestaron su repudio ante este tipo de violencia.

«Pues realmente se siente mucho coraje y no está bien que le hagan eso a los niños», dijo Carla Núñez.

Las autoridades también encontraron que los sospechosos estaban en libertad condicional por uso de drogas.
