El Paso, Texas., a 17 de agosto del 2023.- Un hombre de 19 años fue arrestado y acusado de asalto agravado el martes 15 de agosto, según la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de El Paso.

De acuerdo con autoridades, los hechos ocurrieron cuando los agentes fueron enviados a las 10:23 p.m. el martes 15 de agosto a la cuadra 12900 de Jobe Road sobre un accidente automovilístico que involucró a un camión y una bicicleta.

Investigaciones posteriores revelaron que el conductor, Miguel Ángel Orozco, de 19 años, viajaba por Jobe Road a alta velocidad cuando su vehículo chocó con un ciclista de 15 años.

El ciclista fue transportado a un hospital local y luego dado de alta después de sufrir heridas leves, según la Oficina del Sheriff.

Orozco fue acusado de asalto agravado y registrado en la Cárcel del Condado de El Paso con una fianza de $10,000.
